Make sure that your house is fully insulated, moisture and insect free. Prevent high costs on electrical bills do to faulty wiring. Make sure your home stays warm during the winter days and cool during hot summer season preventing your cool air conditioning from leaking out. Call us for an Infrared Thermographic Scan Home Inspection.

Moisture Detection

By detecting the difference in temperature between a wet area and the surrounding dry areas thermal imaging can help detect moisture issues that would not be visible during a limited visual home inspection. Whether it is a ceiling leak or within the walls do to bad plumbing or deteriorating stucco, with a thermographic scan we can pin point areas that might be affected, which can lead to expensive repairs.

Missing or Moved Insulation

Heat Loss and/or cold air influx can be detected and corrective actions can be taken to help improve the energy efficiency of residential homes. Lowering cost of heating, air-conditioning and electrical costs. We can also detect pesky nests of insects or animals that have decided to make your home their own.

Damaged Wood Framing do to Insects

Significant wood destroying insect activity can be detected do to heat generated by insect infestations. A great deal of heat can be detected from termite activity, though small activity can't be detected but areas not normally visible to the naked eye can be identified.

Electrical Faults

Infrared thermography allows us to see these invisible thermal signatures of impending damage before the damage occurs. When current flows through an electrical circuit, part of the electrical energy is converted into heat energy. This is normal. But, if there is a high resistance in the circuit or high current flow, abnormally high heat is generated which is wasteful, potentially damaging and not normal.
